Hand Made Natural Mattresses Buying Guide
Our hand made natural mattresses are filled with natural fibres such as wool, cashmere, cotton and silk, over pocket springs. Natural fibres are breathable, so they help you stay at a comfortable temperature all year round.
Natural fillings
- Wool: breathable and soft, used in every mattress in this range.
- Cashmere: very soft and light, for a luxurious feel.
- Cotton: cool and breathable.
- Silk: a smooth, fine fibre used in some of our most luxurious mattresses.

Hand-tufted

Most are medium firm. Every mattress comes in 3'0 single to 6'0 super king, and several as a 6'0 super king zip and link mattress.

What is a natural mattress?
A natural mattress uses mainly natural fibres such as wool, cashmere, cotton and silk for its comfort layers, rather than foam. Ours have pocket springs underneath for support.
Why are wool fillings good?
Wool is breathable and draws moisture away, so it helps you stay cool in summer and warm in winter. Every mattress in our natural range has wool fillings.
How many springs do natural mattresses have?
Our natural range has some of our highest pocket counts, from 1000 up to 19,000 springs. More springs usually means more precise support. Read pocket counts: what do they mean?
