Gel Divan Beds Buying Guide
A gel divan bed comes with a mattress that has gel in its comfort layer. Gel is designed to draw heat away from your body, so these sets suit anyone who sleeps hot.
What is in the mattress
- Pocket springs and gel: individual springs for close support and less partner disturbance.
- Open coil springs and gel: a good value way to sleep cooler.
Spring counts in this range go from 1000 to 4000. Some sets also have a pillow top for a softer surface.
Comfort
Most sets are medium, with medium firm and firm options too. See all gel mattresses to compare the mattresses on their own.
Who it suits
- Hot sleepers who wake up too warm.
- Couples, where two people make a bed warmer.
- Memory foam fans who find foam too warm.
Build your bed
Every set in this range comes in every size from 2'6 small single to 6'0 super king, with your choice of fabric, drawers or ottoman lift-up storage, and a headboard. Read the divan beds buying guide for storage and size advice.
