Bedroom Furniture Fashion Changes
Assuming that the average person sleeps around 7-8 hours per day, it is calculated we sleep for around 1 third of our life time, therefore making our bed choice paramount.
Although sleeping is what a bed frame is formerly designed for, many people watch TV in bed, read in bed, and if their lucky even have breakfast in bed.
Quality beds are therefore a centre point of everyday life and subsequently become an important piece of furniture within the home.
Bed Sizes and Styles
Over the years bed sizes and styles have increased rapidly and the choice on the market is much more wide spread. The sizes have increased prompting more people to purchase larger beds like king size or even super king size beds.
The small double beds are also popular with those whom prefer a larger bed than a single bed but don’t have the room for a full size double bed.
Divan beds have always been available in small double but are now in competition with wooden and metal bed frames which are now also creating frames in this size due to its popularity.
Bedroom Furniture Fashion Changes Frequently
Fashion changes twice a year on the catwalks and is now constantly developing in the world of bedroom furniture. No longer is a bed a piece of furniture you have to have but more so a piece of furniture you want to have.
The choice is endless with wooden beds to metal beds, leather sleigh beds to ottoman beds, electric adjustable beds and now TV beds with a flat screen TV that raises up from the foot end taking the bed choice to a whole new level of cool.
