The advantage of the bed on fixed legs is that it allows the use of the bed in a nursing situation where one may want to put the feet of various apparatus under the bed or for one to stand with one`s feet under the bed to assist in lifting a person on or off the bed. Only available with 8inch screw in legs on a base.
