Outlast its here at Bedworld
When I think of outlast® I think of at long last a very similar word. Recently I visited Dubai and saw the hundreds of new developments that were been built. Immediately been the bed freak that I am I thought wouldn’t it be great if I could supply all these properties with our fabulous Memflex memory foam mattresses . Only my second thought was that memory foam would be much too warm to sleep on in a country that temperatures reached up to 50 degrees. Then I discovered Outlast® adaptive comfort®.

Not too hot…not to cold…just right®

Outlast® products all contain patented Outlast® Thermacule face change material. Thurmocules adapt to your skin's micro climate to buffer against overheating and sweating and reduces chill and shivering. Outlast® will work continuously and when you overheat the Thermocules will absorb the excess heat. When the activity stops the excess heat is returned to you, the result? Outlast® memory foam mattresses create a comfort zone next to your body.
I myself had the problem of overheating in bed one minute I am too warm and throwing my duvet of the next minute I was too cold. Not anymore I now sleep with Outlast® as they say and I sleep more soundly resulting in a refreshing nights sleep when I awake I am ready to go.

From cot bed to childs First bed
Over the past twenty years that I have been selling Bedroom furniture one of the most frequent enquiries that I have been asked is do you make a children’s bed low to the floor. This question is always asked by concerned parents worried about there little ones moving from the cot bed to the Childs first bed. I have known many different solutions for this problem (Short Term) Lets say that the parent does put the child in a special bed that is lower to the floor, and then in another couple of years the bed will have to be changed again with further expense. Looking at the whole picture bare in mind that the majority of parents do not opt for the lower bed but transfer the child from a cot bed to a normal size bed. It’s a fact that the child who will usually be about two years old will not fall out of the bed. This is the main concern of the parent. Will my child fall out of bed. Again for some parents they do not want to take that risk so they go looking to buy a bed lower to the floor. Some even use bed guards, this is a small divise usually made from metal that fits under the mattress preventing the child from rolling out of the bed onto the floor. These devises over the past two years are becoming more scarce.Ultimatley if a parent is adamant that they do want the child’s first bed to be lower to the floor then my recommendation would be to purchase a pine bed frame, metal bed or wooden bed. These types of beds are lower to the floor than a standard Divan bed by has much as 10cm. Some parents in the past have told me that they have placed several cushions on the floor at the side of the bed so that if the child does fall out then they would have a softer landing onto the cushions. Another solution could be that if you have two small children one is six years plus and old enough to sleep on a top bunk bed then the younger child could sleep on the bottom bunk bed as the bottom bunk is usually very low to the floor plus the bunk bed ladder if fixed to the bunk bed frame will help stop the child falling out of the bed. Most Bunk beds can be used as two separate single beds side by side without the ladder when both children have grown out of the bunk bed stage. Bunk beds are usually purchased as a space saving solution. Its not going to be easy choosing the child’s first bed as the choice today is endless.

Introduction to Childrens bunk beds

Bunk Beds

Is your child ready to move up from the toddler bed to a bunk bed? Are you looking for a way to make your child want to sleep in his or her own bedroom instead of yours? Bunk beds are almost a right of passage for kids and no other kind of sleeping arrangement provides the level of fun your child will experience with a bunk bed These days the choice of Bunk beds is enormous. Buying bunk beds is not easy I remember when I was a small child; we had Bunk beds that had wooden ends fixed to a very heavy angle iron frame. This frame supported the mattresses with some kind of cris cross springs that kept coming loose when my older brother turned over. In time lots of these springs would hang down from the top bunk bed. Lying down looking up at these springs I would never have dreamed that I would be selling bunk beds all over the UK and Ireland. Today the modern bunk beds are built a lot better than the one I slept in as a small boy. You can choose from all types of wooden bunk beds, pine bunk beds and Metal Bunk beds. The most popular bunk bed at the moment is Futon bunks and white bunk beds. In my future bloggs I will be addressing Safety issues with bunk beds plus Bunk beds V Loft beds and the different types of mattresses that are suitable for bunk beds.

Bedworld launch our new user friendly web site with advanced refine search for beds and mattresses. The new improved navigation that makes the new web site better. It’s much faster and easier to find the exact bed or mattress. Included in our new web site is an advanced search facility that enables our browsers to input keywords, phrases or types of beds. Example if you are searching for a certain type of bed like Children’s bunk beds by inputting into the new search box Bunk beds this will then return a result page with all the Bunk beds in price order. This search can then be refined even further to achieve the type size or price of Bunk bed. This new search facility and refine search can also be used for all the bed brands. A good example would be if you searched for Sealy mattresses then by using the refine search this would allow you to break down all the Sealy mattresses into size and price.
